Hello, and thank you for visiting my campaign website.My name is Wes Mazur, and I’m proud to be running for Woodstock City Council.Since first running in 2022, I’ve remained actively involved in our community because I genuinely care about the future of Woodstock and the people who call it home. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve through local boards and committees, volunteer initiatives, community fundraising, and as a local business owner in the downtown core.Many residents know me through Cheesy Cow Company, but my involvement extends far beyond business. I’ve served on the Downtown Woodstock BIA, the City’s Accessibility Advisory Committee, and most recently joined the Board of Directors at Theatre Woodstock. Through these experiences, I’ve had the opportunity to listen to residents, collaborate with community partners, and gain a greater understanding of both the opportunities and challenges facing our city.Professionally, my background includes occupational health and safety, leadership training, public policy, and working with organizations across Ontario to improve communication, accountability, and decision-making. Those experiences have helped shape the practical and balanced perspective that I would bring to City Council.Woodstock continues to grow and evolve, and I believe our community benefits from steady, responsible, and accountable leadership that listens to residents, supports local businesses, respects taxpayers, and plans thoughtfully for the future.I’m running because I believe in constructive conversations, community involvement, and helping move Woodstock forward in a positive and practical way.Most importantly, I believe every resident deserves to feel heard and represented at City Hall.Over the coming months, I look forward to connecting with residents across Woodstock, hearing your ideas, and discussing the issues that matter most to you and your family.I would be honoured to earn your support.
